[ARCHIVED] Fallen Officer Dedication Ceremony

55 years ago Morrison County Sheriff John Stack and Chief Deputy Andrew Herlitz were ambushed and killed in the line of duty. October 15th, 2020 Morrison County paid tribute to the Fallen Officers with a Dedication Memorial Service unveiling a monument. This Fallen Officer Memorial will be a place to visit, remember, reflect and pay tribute to honor these men who paid the ultimate sacrifice. We promise to forever remember and honor their memory as they will never be forgotten. We pay tribute to the families who mourn their loved ones daily. A name spoken, is a name remembered. The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office is thankful for the communities support, in regards to the Fallen Officer Memorial. This memorial will forever be on display in remembrance of our own Sheriff and Chief Deputy who were ambushed and killed in the line of duty. The Stack and Herlitz families will forever be part of our law enforcement family. Pictures and a link to the video from the service are below:
