The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 6-25-2023 at approximately 8:54 pm, their office received a report of a golf cart accident on Scandia Forest Trail, approximately six miles north of Cushing, MN in Scandia Valley Township.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a 15-year-old juvenile female from Savage, MN was driving a golf cart on Scandia Forest Trail. The juvenile female turned too sharp and lost control of the golf cart causing it to roll and injure both occupants. The 15-year-old driver was transported to Staples Hospital by private vehicle with unknown injuries. The passenger, a 14-year-old juvenile female from Chanhassen, MN was transported by Mayo Clinic Ambulance to Staples Hospital with unknown injuries.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the MN State Patrol, Scandia Valley Fire and Rescue and Mayo Clinic Ambulance.
