The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 8-13-2022 at approximately 6:04 pm, their office received a report of a two-vehicle accident with injuries near the intersection of Partridge Road and 93rd Street, approximately four miles east of Buckman, MN in Morrill Township.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, 17-year-old Kayla Barthel of Foley, MN was traveling south on Partridge Road and 63-year-old Sharon Talberg of New Brighton, MN was traveling west on 93rd Street. Barthel failed to yield at the stop sign and pulled out in front of the vehicle driven by Talberg. Barthel’s vehicle was hit on the driver’s side in the intersection. Barthel was transported by Mayo Clinic Ambulance to St. Gabriel’s Hospital with unknown injuries. Talberg and her passenger, 61-year-old Darvin Kapsner of Hillman, MN were also transported by Mayo Clinic Ambulance to St. Gabriel’s Hospital with unknown injuries.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Pierz Fire Department, MLMB First Response Team and Mayo Ambulance.
