The Morrison County Sheriff ‘s Office along with the Motley Police Department and Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, are investigating an incident that was reported in the am hours of March 6th, 2022. The incident location reported to the Sheriff’s Office was the 600 block off of Hwy 10 South, in the city of Motley. Authorities located a deceased female inside the residence. The deceased female was transported to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office in Anoka County, where an autopsy will be performed. Authorities will be working with the medical examiner’s office to determine the identity of the deceased as well as the cause of death.
One male subject was taken into custody. This case is still under investigation. As details of this case develop, more information will be released. Authorities believe this is an isolated incident and there is no known threat to the public
