The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 9-22-2021 at approximately 6:32 pm, their office received a report of a one-vehicle accident on Harvest Road, just south of Iris Road, approximately two miles south of Little Falls, MN in Little Falls Township.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, 39-year-old Aaron Mielke of Little Falls, MN was traveling south on Harvest Road when his vehicle left the roadway and hit a tree. Mielke was ejected from the vehicle and sustained serious injuries. Mielke was transported by Mayo Clinic Ambulance to St. Gabriel’s Hospital and then airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital where he later passed away. This case is still under investigation.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the MN State Patrol, MN DNR and Mayo Clinic Ambulance.
