Morrison County has begun work on a Fallen Officer Memorial near the historic courthouse in Little Falls. This memorial will be in honor of fallen officers who have given the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Morrison County Sheriff John Stack and Chief Deputy Andrew Herlitz were shot and killed in the line of duty after responding to a dispute in Morrison County on October 15, 1965. Their names will be added to this monument.
Pavers will be located on each side of the monument (see attached drawing) and can be purchased and personalized, showing your support for law enforcement. A donation of $200 per paver will help make this memorial a reality. Your personalized paver will then be inscribed and laid in line with the memorial. Up to 3 lines can be scribed on the paver showing your name, family names, company name, etc. (Sample attached). Fill out the attached application, include your donation and mail to the address on the application. Application deadline is August 26, 2020. Thank you for your support.
