As weather permits, maintenance employees will be working on the following activities this week:
- Crews will be doing culvert work on County Road 247 east of Hillman and on County Road 270 north east of Pierz. Both culvert repair locations will include detours please follow the detour signs.
- Maintenance crews will continue patching various roads around the county.
- Crews will be doing bridge maintenance on various bridges around the county.
Please use caution around work crews and flashing lights.
Morrison County Public Works would like to remind farmers that planting crops within road right of way is illegal. State law prohibits plowing, tilling and/or planting in the right of way. We want to prevent any situation where crops block motorists’ vision, create erosion concerns or other safety issues.
Public Works employees continue to practice social distancing guidelines in their travels and on the various job sites as we continue to preserve and maintain Morrison County infrastructure.
