A manufactured home park is defined as any site, lot, field or tract of land upon which two or more occupied manufactured homes are located, either free of charge or for compensation, and includes any building, structure, tent, vehicle or enclosure used or intended for use as part of the equipment of the manufactured home park.
The parks are regulated by Minnesota Rules Parts 4630.0200 to 4630.1801 and Minnesota Statute 327.14 and are administered, licensed and inspected by Morrison County. The parks are inspected on a regular basis for compliance with state and local requirements.
Plan Review
Whenever a mobile home park is constructed, extensively remodeled or an existing structure is converted, and prior to construction, a properly prepared Plan Review must be submitted to Morrison County Public Health for review and approval. Plumbing plans need to be submitted to the Minnesota Department of Labor.
